Safe Exercise for Pregnancy
Designed specifically for pregnant individuals, this clinical Reformer Pilates class is led by Exercise Physiologists to provide a safe, supportive, and effective workout during pregnancy. We provide education on safe exercise positioning and intensity through each trimester.

We know that exercise throughout pregnancy is the greatest thing you can do to help minimise musculoskeletal pain, optimise labour, and assist in postnatal recovery.

All clients entering our prenatal classes led by an Exercise Physiologist must attend an initial consultation, rebates may be available.​

Pelvic Floor Focus
Each session includes deep breathing with focused lengthening & coordination of the pelvic floor. Evidence supports these types of exercises during pregnancy and suggests they may improve birth outcomes particularly vaginal deliveries.

Pelvic floor exercises support pelvic and core stability reducing strain on the lower back, hips and pelvis, especially as the body accommodates weight and postural changes.

Training the muscles to relax and release, not just contract, builds a resilient pelvic floor that is less prone to dysfunction and recovers well postpartum. ​

Build Strength & Stay Active
Classes focus on global muscular strength in particular hip, lumbopelvic and upper body muscle groups to support your posture, joints and the changing needs of your body throughout pregnancy. Also in preparation for birth and postpartum recovery. We can provide home exercise programs to benefit you further outside of our classes.

Our Prenatal classes are informative, challenging and adaptive to needs, with a great sense of community and support.
This class has a maximum of 4 people to ensure close instruction, supervision and modifications can be provided to a high standard.
